Miodula Staropolska (Old Polish Blend)

Miodula Staropolska (Old Polish Blend)

This is a traditional liquor, known for centuries, whose production is based on Polish honeydew honey originating from the Beskid mountains, as well as a specially composed mixture of ingredients which are the real secret of its sophisticated taste.

What distinguishes it is the colour and its delicate aroma of honey with a subtle hint of vanilla. Miodula Staropolska obtains its rich bouquet and inimitable flavour thanks to the original mountain recipe. Sediment at the bottom of the bottle is evidence of the natural origin of the ingredients with which it is made. Before serving, it is recommended that the bottle be shaken in order for the honey to be evenly spread around. According to preference, it may be served well cooled or at room temperature.

Miodula is honey vodka of the Beskid region, whose recipe is passed on from generation to generation among Beskid mountain folk. Still today, this traditional beverage is prepared in homes for extravagant mountain weddings, and its recipe goes back to the times of the establishment of the Duchy of Cieszyn, comprising the lands of today's Beskids and Cieszyn Silesia.

Miodula Presidential Blend

Miodula Presidential Blend

Miodula Presidential Blend matures in oak barrels made of Polish oak, supplied by one producer due to the fact that wood composition varies according to the area from which it originates. This allows us to obtain a product of stable aromatic-flavour characteristics. For barrel production, wood of old oaks is used, and it is important that it be dried over a few years. Oak wood contains a large amount of aromatic compounds which are transferred to the alcohol while maturing and have an enormous impact on creating the appropriate bouquet. Oak casks are refined through special woodwork which relies on burning the staves to the appropriate degree, as then the oak wood gives Miodula its exceptional, traditional and unique aroma.

This exceptional product may be offered in a wooden case lined with purple velvet, together with two hand-made, tulip-shaped glasses, as well as a candle made of natural beeswax. Each bottle is hand numbered and signed by the person responsible for its production.
